Scottish Rugby Television

Just a post highlighting the latest development from the SRU online. Scottish Rugby Television will show a variety of Scottish rugby highlights. The address for this site is as follows:

www.scottishrugbytv.com

This weeks match was the first in the Scottish Hydro Electric Cup between Glasgow Hawks and Boroughmuir which also included new rules that are currently being trialed by the International Rugby Board (IRB). Look out for the Glasgow Hawks number 6 and see if you can notice any similar traits between him and your very own coach, haha!

Best of luck to SC'S big/little brother on Saturday for Glasgow Hawks against Edinburgh Accies in the cup final at Murrayfield on Saturday. From small acorns do large oak trees grow.I'm sure that there are acorns with talent and aspirations in Forfar.I look forward to monitoring their development.DC Gairloch.

Nice one Forfar.A hard fought game against Webster's I hear.In my first season as coach here in Gairloch High I received a wooden spoon from the boys.It was a trophy nonetheless. It still has pride of place in my display cabinet.Rugby is a game of meaningful and wide ranging experiences.Winning, however,is always magic.Well done lads.

A herculean effort boys.Very well done.Self belief and a will to win.Keeping the cool in a thinking man's game.Consistent effort.Who knows?you may have to play more than 55 minutes in your next game. How many Bell Baxter players have moved on?Teams have mixed fortunes and variable quality from season to season.Never let the heads go down. Not one in the whole squad at any time.Stay positive. All the best for the next round. You are a credit to yourselves, your various coaches, your clubs and your schools.Mr C senior
